  • A versatile cardigan with perfectly slouchy sleeves to wear all year round. The croissant cardigan is an easy continuous knit and the perfect addition to your wardrobe.  

     

    This pattern provides step by step, easy to follow instructions using the following techniques: Long tail cast on, 1x1 rib stitch, stocking stitch, make 1, purl 2 together, cast off, cable cast on, cast off in ribbing, picking up stitches. There is a list of how-to video links in the pattern to help you through!


    Skill Level: Easy. 

     

    Sizing: 6 sizes (UK6-28) see size guide.

     

    Yarn: 1 strand of bulky + 2 strands of lace weight yarn held together. Or 2 strands of Aran + 2 strands of lace weight yarn held together. We have used:

     

    6 [6, 7, 7, 8, 8] balls of Drops Wish, navy blue - 50% Alpaca, 33% Cotton and 17% Wool. (70m/77yds per 50g skein.)
    +

    4 [4, 4, 5, 5, 5] balls of CaMaRose Midnatssol, black - 54% Baby Alpaca, 36% Tencel and 10% Merino Wool. (200m/218yds per 25g skein.)

     

    Suggested Needle Sizes:  7mm/US 10.5  knitting needles and 10mm/US 15 knitting needles.
